  • NBCU doing a collab between Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg was a way to get views and recognition.

  • Prime Day is a recurring trend that has become, “basically”, a national holiday.

  • It’s important to not just jump on the bandwagon of a trend to just forget about it later. You should stick with it and be genuine about it.

  • Jamie likes to be highly involved with the marketing and advertising team of whatever project she is working on.

  • She loves to sell things. Her ability to sell products for the past 25 years started when she did a Hertz ad. Jamie says, “How did they know I could sell?”

  • Duolingo let go of the traditional ways of thinking and instead focus on…

    3. Agility- be funny and weird

  • 30% of their budget is on experimentation, where they make sure to start with the idea and not the budget.

  • They took part in the dark humor trend and related it back to learning a language.

  • BE UNHINGED.

  • CX quality sits at an all-time low, where negative feedback has grown faster than positive feedback.
